For the Connecticut State Conference, this competition entails creating a dragster based on the year's design specification and according to regulation, and having the judges race them on site. Only individuals (1) may participate in this event.

Competition Update:

Please note the changes to the below specifications on p.132 of the 2020 and 2021 Middle School Competitive Events Guide. The spacer washers used shall not exceed ten (10), and the axle clips shall not exceed four (4). These quantities indicate maximum amounts, not minimum, as printed in the guide.
